Hi, I'm Marissa
Once your date is booked, we’ll dive right in with a planning kickoff call. This is where we’ll review your vision, priorities, aesthetic, and any vendors you’ve already secured. From there, we’ll build a detailed timeline so we’re ready to get the (planning) party started!
The Game Plan
We start with a complimentary consultation to get to know each other. You’ll tell us all about your dream day, what you’ve already planned (if anything!), and how we can support you best. After the call, we send over a customized contract. If we clicked and you’re all in, simply submit your signed contract and retainer to officially save your date.
The Vibe Check
From rehearsal to reception, we’re on-site making sure everything runs smoothly. While you hit the dance floor and sip champagne, we’re behind the scenes making sure everything is executed flawlessly. At the end of the night, we'll tie up any loose ends so you can enjoy every. single. moment.
The Party
With the foundation set, we work our magic to bring your vision to life. Depending on your package, this could include everything from designing your event aesthetic to booking your dream team of vendors. As your date gets closer, we’ll tighten the timeline, double-check every detail, and keep everything moving—so you can skip the stress and focus on the fun.

My love of weddings started at age 14 when I helped my mom plan her own (thanks, Mom!) Watching everything fall into place—the chaos, the emotions, and everything in between—was an exhilarating experience. Needless to say, I was hooked.
As I got older, I realized a wedding isn’t just one momentous day—it’s every detail and decision leading up to it. The planning, the problem-solving, the quiet, behind-the-scenes magic that brings it all together into one unforgettable celebration.
I started Meant 2 Bee Events with a clear mission: to make wedding planning feel just as exciting as the big day itself.
My style is equal parts organized and personalized, and always rooted in what matters most to you. If you’re looking for a planner who’s honest, detail-obsessed, and 100% in your corner—you’ve found her!
When I’m not working behind the scenes to make wedding dreams come true, you can find me mentoring young women as the State Director for Miss California with the Miss America Organization (and probably hunting down the nearest Taco Bell).
